ABOUT THIS SITE
I'm Rebecca Resinski, a professor of Classics at Hendrix College, and this site grew out of a workshop I run on text altering, remixing, and erasing. Some of the students who participated in the workshop decided to do their own extended text-alteration projects using Homer's Odyssey, and examples of their work launched the site in May 2017. Since then, other Hendrix students have undertaken their own alteration projects and contributed pieces. In 2024 the scope of the project widened to include not just Homer's Odyssey but any Greek or Roman epic poem.
